" Had I not become a homeopath, I would be envious of anyone who had."

Homeopathy is a 200 year old system of natural medicine used by an estimated 500 million people worldwide. Homeopathic remedies stimulate the body's self regulating systems (immune system) to initiate the healing process.

" I cannot manage without homeopathy. I never go anywhere without homeopathic remedies. I use them often......"

Paul McCartney, Musical Creator

Why did you become a homeopath?
I 'accidentally' heard a lecture at my university when I was younger . My mind was captured by the notion that a safe form of natural medicine could address the uniqueness of an individual, and at the same time, heal or ameliorate specific complaints..I immediately began studying homeopathy and could not learn enough. I still can't.

Is it challenging to be a homeopath?
Absolutely, but we homeopaths would never do anything else. We are in for life. The initial challenge is to 'see' the client as a whole person, with all their symptoms, especially those that cause the most discomfort. We want to know where the big limitations are centered for that person. We want to hear that person's story.Classical homeopathy mean we use one remedy, at one time. This chosen remedy matches the entirety or totality of that person's symptom picture. When that match is successful, symptoms are neutralized by the body and the magic happens. The person's immune system, or natural healing response, engages and symptoms improve. It is very satisfying to watch this extraordinary process unfold.

What make you unique as a homeopath?
In addition to my unending passion for continued academic studies of classical homeopathy, I have had a private practice as a clinical nutritionist for 31 years. A nutritional background helps greatly to enhance my skill set as a homeopath.

What do you expect from your clients?
It is essential that each person be under the care of a medical physician. The client must keep up with her/his well-care visits and other necessary medical visits.

What is the first visit like?
All appointment can be done in person, by phone, FaceTime, Skype or a combination of ways. The first visit can last 1/1/2- 2 hours. The times goes by very quickly. In the beginning I may simply ask, "tell me your story, where are you stuck or what is bothering you?" The person will take this personal remedy to relieve their symptoms. Most folks are surprised to know they may take their ready ONE TIME only- not once daily or weekly, one time period.

What about follow-up visits?
After the person takes the remedy there will be about-3-4 follow-up visits, each spaced 4-6 weeks apart.Homeopathic remedies are inexpensive and can be purchased through a homeopathic pharmacy or a health food store.

Are you a homeopathic client too?
Absolutely! I am fortunate to have a wonderful and talented homeopath. When life gets bumpy, I make an appointment.
